BRETT, the memecoin launched three months ago, jumped 14% to become today’s biggest gainer.
At the time of writing, the token was still up 8%, trading at $0.1609, according to data from CoinMarketCap (CMC). During the same period, the meme coin, inspired by a character from the comic strip “Boy’s Club,” had a daily trading volume of $72 million.

At the same time, the crypto asset also emerged as the 56th largest cryptocurrency, with its market capitalization surpassing the $1.6 trillion mark. Despite this, BRETT is still down 17% from its all-time high of $0.1939.
BRETT’s recent price surge follows a June 25 announcement by crypto exchange KuCoin about a Twitter Space fireside chat with the Brett team.
This event generated considerable interest within the community, amplified by the opportunity to win $1,000 in BRETT through a giveaway, adding a potential catalyst for increased trading activity and rising prices for the token .
Adding to the bullish sentiment, popular trader Andrew Crypto (@MrTastycalls) shared his optimism about the coin’s trajectory. He noted that BRETT is showing signs of rebounding and breaking out on lower timeframes, predicting that the coin could reach $0.20 in the coming week.

The latest surge in BRETT memecoin also comes at a time when the market as a whole is starting to show signs of recovery. According to CMC data, the global market climbed 1.2% to $2.28 trillion.
Meanwhile, other Solana-based memecoins are also recovering due to the broader crypto market rise, with Grandpa (PEPE) up 9%, Dogwifhat (WIF) up 10% and Bonk (BONK) with a more modest gain of 4%.
