Fancy making your own meme coins and getting rugged? This could be the game for you.
Fun.carpet is a two-step, 24-hour game that sees investors attempting to create and purchase meme coins with the highest and lowest liquidity. Somewhere in between when the timer reaches zero? Then you’re getting robust.
This is as degenerate as it sounds. In the first 12-hour phase of the game, players can create or purchase as many coins as they want. But only the first 10 coins will be moved to the second page, while all other tokens will be refunded.
In the second phase, called the rush, investors have 12 hours to make sure their stocks are among the highest or lowest liquid assets tokens in the game. To do this, players can purchase or trade coins with an incrementally increasing “rug pool” fee that will be added to the prize pool.
Once the 24-hour timer reaches zero, the tokens in first and last place win. Every “midwit” token in between is entirely robust, with their liquidity going to the game winners along with the carpet fee.
From the creators of Mint.funan NFT discovery site that was just acquired by Zora, the Context team created AIRDROP as the game’s first token. The team whitelisted addresses that were made difficult by previous tokens and NFT projects (such as BALD). This token can be used to create or exchange tokens Fun.carpet.
Built on Coinbase’s layer-2 Ethereum network Basic, the first game is currently in the tender phase. At the time of writing, AIRDROP is first with a multi-million dollar lead while RUGDOTFUN is last, just $300,000 behind in ninth place.
As it stands, there is $260,000 in the prize pool that will be distributed to first and last place tokens.
This comes amidst a more attractive cryptocurrency market that developers and degenerators are targeting shocking new tactics for pumping tokens. We saw recently LiveMom perform degrading acts if his son’s meme coin reached a certain market cap, while another developer promised he couldn’t pull the rug out because I have no hands…he had his hands and was pulling the carpet.
