Meet the Crypto Promoter Who Says He Launched Caitlyn Jenner’s Solana Meme Coin
Olympic gold medalist Caitlyn Jenner appears to have launched a Pump.fun token, sending Crypto Twitter into meltdown. It’s driven Decrypt down a rabbit hole to find the person who claims to have deployed the JENNER token on Pump.fun.
“We love cryptocurrencies! » Jenner posted on Twitter followed by Pump.fun link and a photo with Donald Trump. The JENNER token arrived quickly decentralized exchange Raydium— a key objective for Pompe.fun tokens – and is currently up 24,838% since inception.
“I am connected to almost every celebrity,” said Sahil Arora. Decryptclaiming he deployed the JENNER token.
But questions were raised on social media to find out if he is helping or harming the projects he claims to be involved in. Pseudonymous Crypto Twitter sleuths claim to have found a wallet with funds they believe came from alleged pumps and dumps, which sold $16,000 worth of JENNER shortly after launch.
This launch looked like a lot celebrity hacks from the past. Many notable figures, such as former U.S. President Barack Obamaco-founder of Ethereum Vitalik Buterin, and even Twitter owner Elon Musk have had their accounts compromised. This usually involves an exploiter using the account to share a questionable link to a coin or wallet address and asking their followers to fork over their money.
Crypto Twitter was therefore naturally wary of the JENNER token.
Caitlyn Jenner’s Twitter account launched a campaign to prove her account hadn’t been hacked, as many believed. First of all, his manager Sophia Hutchins posted a video on Twitter while the former decathlon athlete said she played golf. It was after Jenner posted a video which many believed to be a deep fake. But a second video abandoned which seemed to silence most of the skeptics.
This symbolic debut took place on the same day as the popular GCR crypto trader was hacked, with the attacker shilling two projects Before dumping. And the American rapper Rich the child posted a Pump.fun link on Twitter before deleting the social media post.
Twitter users immediately made connections between Rich the Kid’s token and Caitlyn Jenner’s token with a wallet found having bought and sold a significant quantity of each token. A Twitter user thinks the wallet made a profit of 98 SOL ($16,000) by selling Jenner tokens.
Rich The Kid then took to Twitter to point the finger at Sahil Arora.
“He’s the guy in charge of these scams,” the New York rapper said in a now-deleted Twitter post. This is the same man whose Instagram story Jenner posted under his original Twitter post Pump.fun, in an attempt to convince his followers that the launch wasn’t a hack. “$7 million in volume in one hour. Teamwork”, the Instagram story says.
Arora said Decrypt via Instagram DMs that he deployed the JENNER token. He sent a screenshot of a contract with his and Caitlyn Jenner’s purported signature, but Decrypt has yet to receive any comment or confirmation from Jenner’s team.
Arora said Decrypt via Instagram DMs that he is in contact with several celebrities. “Sometimes I go to them, most of the time they come and I choose,” Arora said. “It’s the only way to make crypto more mainstream and benefit from the attention economy, it’s the meta they didn’t know they needed.”
He claims to have been involved in projects for other celebrities, including actress Lindsay Lohan and artists Soulja Boy, Tyga, NeYo and Liam Payne. But he didn’t share any concrete verification. When asked why he did this, he cited influence, money and authority as his motivations.
Arora also said that he helped launch the Rich the Kid token, RICH, but has since severed ties with the project. “I gave it up and fought,” he said. Decrypt. Rich the Kid did not immediately respond to Decryptrequest for comment.
Twitter user Roxo estimates that Arora is the common denominator between five apparent celebrity-related rug pulls in the past week. They all connect to the same wallet that made a $16,000 profit on JENNER and was also would have been posted by Caitlyn Jenner’s official Twitter account asking for meme coin donations.
Arora has a newly created Telegram group, where he shares his token launch plans with porn stars, artists, and actors. The group had promoted a token for Ivana Knöll, former Miss Croatia, but the social media post promoting the token was deleted. This project is part of the so-called pump and dumps. The model did not immediately respond to Decrypt request for comment.
In response to Roxo’s claims about the Solana wallet belonging to him, Arora simply said that they were “idiots.”
Jenner’s Twitter account has been more active than usual, promoting the project several times an hour. Arora says his and Jenner’s camps are collaborating to engage with the crypto community. The account has retweeted Pump.funresponded to Autism CapitalAnd review republished of the Rich the Kid token.
“The next one will be incredibly HUGE and will make JENNER look small,” Arora posted on her Telegram. “Stay tuned for announcements.”
