CleanSpark’s Amplified Hash Rate Mined 445 Bitcoins in June
CleanSpark capped off a busy June with an increase in Bitcoin mined and a 2x increase in hash rate compared to December.
According to a Tuesday press release, CleanSpark mined 445 Bitcoin (BTC) in June after adding five new mining facilities in Georgia. The mining startup also surpassed its operational hashrate target of 20 EH/s set for mid-year.
“We continue to maximize efficiencies at our existing locations and look forward to the opportunities ahead in Wyoming and Tennessee,” he said CEO Zach Bradford.
CleanSpark’s mining numbers from last month indicate the company’s strength following April’s Bitcoin halving event. halving It happens every four years and cuts mining rewards in half. The company mined 46 BTC less than it did last June, a modest difference considering Bitcoin’s code change.
Bradford added that the company is “laser-focused” on increasing mining hashrate and generating more revenue post-halving. Meanwhile, other miners are struggling and exploring business sales to maximize shareholder value.
CleanSpark’s post-halving performance has been the envy of the mining scene, as the startup has improved its hash rate and mined more BTC in recent months. According to crypto.news, the Bradford-based company has also acquired GRIID facilities in a $155 million deal, and analysts at HC Wainright are optimistic in CLSK shares. CLSK is up 58% year-to-date and was trading at $17.19 on the Nasdaq at the time of writing.
