Baby Doge will launch on Solana and build bridges to ETH and BNB
Baby Doge, a dog-themed cryptocurrency inspired by Dogecoin, has once again turned heads in the cryptocurrency landscape. Following the recent renunciation of ownership of the token on Ethereum and BNB Chainthe play has now cleared the waters to expand its operations to Solana.
A recent article shared on X highlighted that meme coin’s proposal to deploy the BabyDoge token on the Solana network has been officially adopted. This paves the way for the next phase of development upgrades for the successful deployment of the meme coin on one of the most renowned blockchains.

According to a message shared by the coins Today, June 8, the proposal on snapshot.org was officially adopted, and the odds are significantly tilted in its favor. Notably, 100%, or 2,668 trillion community members, voted “yes”.
The next phase of development is research, followed by the development, testing and deployment phases. This ensures the smooth transition of a Solana-compatible BabyDoge token smart contract onto the intended network after comprehensive testing. Simultaneously, token bridges, initiating bridges between ETH, BNB Chain and Solana, will also be available.

Today’s article also shed light on the strategic decision to develop Solana. Compared to Ethereum, Solana offers more profitable transactions, making it a more attractive option. Additionally, not all centralized Tier 1 exchanges support BNB Chain, further enhancing Solana’s appeal. These factors played a crucial role in the decision to expand Baby Doge to Solana.
Following the successful deployment of BabyDoge on the network, the transaction speed is expected to reach over 65,000 TPS. Fees will also be reduced to $0.00025 per transaction.
These factors appear to have offered the cryptocurrency community great attraction to adopt the proposal. However, the price of BabyDoge fell at the time of publication, fueling speculation despite the optimistic development.
